Having the right editing software can make all the difference as someone who enjoys making videos. I’ve been using Filmora for a while and have had a good experience with it—, but lately, I’ve been leaning more toward CapCut. Here’s why I’ve decided to make the switch.
Both Filmora and CapCut are easy to use and packed with effects, transitions, and editing tools. But the biggest difference is what you get for free. CapCut’s free version is surprisingly generous. It includes advanced filters and transitions to tools like auto-captioning—no subscription required. On the other hand, while Filmora is solid, many of its advanced features are locked behind a paywall or come with watermarks unless you upgrade.
For me, switching to CapCut means I get more creative freedom without spending extra. It’s making my editing process easier and giving me access to tools I used to only find in paid software. If you want to start making vidows for free CapCut is worth checking out.
