I was out at the bike park, hitting some big wooden jumps and feeling too confident. I went into one way too fast, and when my front wheel hit first, I flew over the handlebars. I threw out my left arm to catch myself—bad move.
I ended up breaking a few bones in my wrist and crushing some in my arm. After two long hours in urgent care, I finally got x-rays and a splint.
I learned my lesson: respect the jumps and maybe slow down next time.
